A Connecticut photographer's record of life in a shipbuilding town, Mystic, Connecticut.  Scholfield lived in Mystic from 1865 to 1930 and had a studio in New London beginning in 1894.  The selection is from the holdings of the Mystic Seaport Museum, which has 6,000 of his glass plate negatives.  Entire issue, softcover, near fine with some pages partially separated from spine.
