Covers shows evidence of handling, spine somewhat darkened from light exposure, binding sound.  After introductory chapters on art education based on his experience at the Bauhaus, Moholy provides separate chapters on painting, photography, sculpture, space-time problems, motion pictures, literature, and group poetry. Chapter on photography features numerous illustrations of photograms and manipulated photography.  The entire book is profusely illustrated, including many photographs by Moholy, plus some by Berenice Abbott, Arthur Siegel, Harold Edgerton, George Keys, Man Ray, Carlotta Corpron, F.W.
