Behrman House, 1950.  Hardcover, illustrated boards, very good with wear to edges, with the uncommon dust jacket, good, not price-clipped, in fresh protector, with chips to spine tips and wear to extremities.  Inscribed by a rabbi to a prize-winning student student in 1956.  Tim Gidal (1909–1996) is considered one of the founders of modern photojournalism.  He first visited Palestine in 1930 and married Sonia in 1944.  This book was prepared by the Gidals for their four-year-old son.  It is one of a series they did on villages in different countries, including Ireland.
