Photographs of the women pilots taken during World War II followed by portraits of the military veteran women by Noggle in the 1980s. Noggle was particularly interested in this subject as she was a former Captain in the Air Force, World War II vet, and a flight instructor before becoming a photographer, art professor at the University of New Mexico, and curator of the Fine Arts Museum, Santa Fe, rising to be among the well known women photographers of her era. 164 pages, printed on acid free paper with an expected life of at least 300 years.
