Photographs in color and black-and-white by Magnum photographers Cornell Capa, Charles Harbutt, Micha Bar-Am, and Leonard Freed, as well as others, including Charles Phelps Cushing, Fred Ward, Anthony Howarth, and Mark St. Gil.
