International Center of Photography. Photography Lectures and Workshops. 21 catalogs, 1975–1989.

This lot of Fall, Spring, and Summer catalogs is an incomplete run between 1975 and 1989. They contain information regarding ICP educational programs such as Dialogues, Advance Workshops, Film Workshops, Tech Seminars, Vision & Craft Workshops, Community Workshops, and Directions and Perspectives Lecture Series, taught by well known and respected photographers and other experts.  For example, in Fall 1975, Dialogues instructors included Eddie Adams & Donald McCullin; Judy Dater, Jack Welpott & Melissa Shook; Jacques Henri Lartigue and Louise Dahl-Wolfe; Anne and David Doubilet & George Silk; Fritz Goro & Roman Vishniac; and Milton Glazer & Henry Wolf.  Advanced Workshops were taught by Charles Harbutt, Arnold Newman, Nathan Lyons, Lou Stoumen, Sam Wagstaff, Abigail Heyman, and Bruce Dale.  The Film Workshops were taught by Morris Engel. Directions and Perspectives lecturers included Lucien Clergue, Robert Delpire, Ernst Haas, Philippe Halsman, Adal Maldanado, Ruth Orkin, and Gordon Parks, among others. Instructors for Vision and Craft Workshops included Bernard Hoffman, Ralph Morse, et al.  The publications also often include lists of ICP staff, news about ICP's exhibitions, brief bios of faculty, and other information about ICP.  Most of the catalogs feature photographs by famous photographers who taught courses. Summer catalogs open up as posters on one side. Catalogs are in fine condition except Fall 1977, which has the registration form excised from a corner.
