Fine oblong hardcover bound in green and beige cloth with very good plus protected dust jacket that has some slight indentations and shelf wear.  Excellently composed and reproduced 141 black-and-white photographs taken around the world, primarily by Gordon Converse, with others by R. Norman Matheny, Peter Main, and Barth Falkenberg. Chapters on The Americas, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and Asia and the Pacific, followed by notes and photograph credits. Includes landscape, architecture, people, wildlife, etc. Some well known figures appear, notably Robert Frost, John F. Kennedy, Nikita Khrushchev, and Jawaharlal Nehru, but most people in photos are unidentified. Published on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of The Christian Science Monitor.
